Infant Welfare Showhouse & Gardens

Six great reasons to see the Infant Welfare Showhouse and Gardens between April 29 – May 21 this year.Craig Bergmann Infant Welfare boutique

As designers, we love to collect.

“Ooooooh, look!” Our travels bring us to curious treasures we can’t resist, so we bring them home. Some live with us in our studio, nursery, and garden. Others we secret away, waiting for just the right place, the right person, the right design.

Once, we had a retail store for our treasures.

It was called the Country Garden and we miss it! These days, we organize tantalizing popup shops to showcase our curated favorites. Then we send you home with something that will become part of your own story.

Our curated collection will be at the Infant Welfare Showhouse & Gardens from April 29 – May 21 in Lake Forest.

It’s our best popup shop of the year! We’re stuffing it full of our uncommon antique, vintage, and contemporary garden containers, statuary and furnishings.

Don’t miss the gardens!

We’re re-imagining the home’s west patio and fire feature gardens to pair our collection with design inspiration. The patio design will complement this historic Howard Van Doren Shaw home with a collection of antique faux bois ornaments and teak furnishings in a warm, rustic style.  Visit the gardens; come to the boutique. Everything in the gardens will also be for sale (but of course you can’t have it till the show is over!)

30 designers in one house? Guaranteed inspiration.

We’re not doing this alone, of course. More than 30 designers are transforming a room or garden at this east Lake Forest estate. You won’t leave disappointed!

See the show. Support a great organization.

For more than a century, Infant Welfare has pioneered innovative medical and behavioral health practices to serve some of Chicago’s most vulnerable families. We’re proud to be a part of their largest fundraising initiative!
